What's going on at HolyOak Whips?

A collection of my whips that are going out as well as related videos and articles that I think are interesting.

I have had a lot of people asking about CombatCon.  Honestly, there were quite a few things that happened that were awful.  I have affectionately named it the trip from hell.  However, I'm not going to tell you about all the bad stuff.  I'll hit the highlights and the cool stuff that happened.

I drove out there all by myself and I'm actually really proud of myself for making it through Vegas.  When I got to the Plams it was a nice little casino so it was easy to navigate.  My room was cute and the view was lovely.

Ron and Tom let me hang out with them.  I also met so many new friends.  One man who was the vendor right across from me named Garth, made it a lot more fun to be a t the booth.  He makes amazing things at SGT Blades.

I literally had the best view in the house from my booth!!

One of the coolest things that happened to me was when Anthony and Mary DeLongis did a whip demonstration for the public.  Anthony swiped a whip off my table to do part of it and gave me the best commercial ever.   I wish that I had it on video...  but I had no idea that he was going to do that so I was unprepared.   ((This picture is almost as good!))

This was the class picture for the Latigo y Daga class and almost all the whips in the picture were made by me!

I got to dress up in a pretty costume for a party and dance the night away.

Bottom line-  Yes, I will go back next year.  I will change quite a few things that I do next time.  I kind of expected a learning curve though.  Next year should be a lot more fun a less stressful.
