This Valkyrie is my favorite so far. It has the official Valkyrie pattern in colonial blue and electric blue with black knots and a brass ferrule. I just can quit looking at it!
I think Odin likes this Valkyrie too... because this guy hung out with me the whole time I was taking pictures and doing the test crack. He only flew away when a group of tourists came and interrupted me.
I wish that I had the time to make a bunch of whips, but right now I don't have an extra minute. I DO have a few fun things to offer this year for Black Friday though.
The first is a deal on a Ric Boyd Fall and cracker combo. Buy one fall at regular price and get 4 matching Ric Boyd crackers for free. (save $10) Save on shipping if you order more than one.
This is the perfect stocking stuffer!
Offer good till December 7th.
The second is a deal on All 6 Whip Basics DVDs. This complete set isn't offered anywhere else. Save $30 and get free shipping when you buy all 6! If you have been thinking of getting these DVDs, this is the time!
Offer good through December 31st. (order early if you want them before Christmas!!)
Third - I do have a 5 foot orange and grey show whip thong with a matching Ric Boyd fall already on it. I would be happy to attach it to a copper handle and send it to you before Christmas. $10 off the whip, get the fall for free and no waiting time! (Save $30)
You can checkout in my store front page or just email me if you are interested but have a few questions!
Stefan ordered a matched set of Sacred Flight- Tibetan Wave whips and also a 5 foot, 16 plait Sonic Alignment in tan and black. They make such a lovely set. I had to take so many pictures of them!
I also took some time on the video to compare the Sonic Alignment and the Sacred Flight. It is pretty easy to see the differences in this set because the colors are the same and the length is almost the same. There is nothing to distract from why they are actually different whips.
Several months ago I met a cool guy named Topher who is also a whip maker. I'm always a little nervous when I make whips for people in my same profession but we all like to test out each other's work so this comes up from time to time.
This whip is Special because it is a gift for his wife... (which is probably the reason he couldn't make it himself) As we were talking, he said he wanted a whip that reflected the Rastafarian flag and maybe in a flying V pattern. I won't lie, I had to google the flag to see exactly what it looked like. (Google wasn't super helpful because some of the images had the flag with the colors in one order and some had the colors in the opposite order.
After some thought, I figured out how I wanted the handle. I put little Rasta flags on it that turned out great. I also made the whole whip fade from more green to yellow to red. It was super fun to make something with a theme and I'm happy with how bright and fun it it. (I even don't mind the flying V chaos that much)
I sent this whip to my Buddy in Ireland. Andrzej was good enough to send me his review in video form.
This first video shows him talking about the whip and comparing it to a Peter Jack Latigo y Daga. I love how he points out the my whips are not a copy of Peter's whips. I had to watch it a couple of times to hear everything, as the wind was really blowing the day he shot this but I am glad I did. ...and yes, I do believe that we will be friends forever.
The second video shows Andrzej going through his flow with the Dragon's Tail. I just love it!
I love the original Tibetan Wave whip! It has to be my favorite one to build. Most likely because it has all 3 of my favorite colors in it. This one is going to California, but not to Ron this time. It goes to a nice guy named Frank who is going to have lots of fun with it.
