I consider Cathy one of my best friends even though I have never met her in person. She and I bonded over having children with autism. She has always been such a great support to me. It was a joy to get to build her some whips!

This whip is really special. It is for my niece Adia. She is such a special little gal. She is happy and helpful and so talented in everything she tries... including whip cracking. It was so fun to make this for her.    If these all look quite familiar to you, its because they are all copies of whips I have previously made for someone else. One Sonic Alignment, One Tibetan Wave and Two Show whips.   This whip went to a very special friend of mine. I love Nicole like a sister and I am so happy that she is into the same crazy things as I am. I tricked her into agreeing to go with me to CombatCon this year and I am so happy to have a friend to go with. If you go to Vegas this year, you can see this dark rainbow whip up close.    This whip was a gift from Laura to Susette for her 50th birthday and I am so happy that I got to be included in the surprise. I can't wait to have these girls over to my house for a play date.  I Love Laura so much. She is smart and funny and always lets me do fun an funky things to her hair. I'm so happy to be able to share this whipy part of my life with her.  This is a very special whip. It was difficult on a few different levels. First it is white and keeping white cord clean is a whole job in its self. Then the entire thing is tracer cord which is really hard on the fingers. Finally the white is also glow in the dark and that doesn't melt the same as regular nylon and caused me to redo that bottom knot a couple of times. I was very very happy to get this one finished and out to it's new owner.  These whips aren't going to the same person, but they looked so festive together that I had to pose them for a picture.  |
