Scott needed a short whip that would work on stage and that is why he ordered a 5 foot 12 plait bullwhip.
It amazes me how many of my whips go out to performers. My whips are in the hands of film actors, stage actors, street performers and in 4 different circuses. This whip is going to be a prop in of Man of La Mancha. I really love musicals and I hope to get some pictures and maybe a video clip of this. I met Enoch on the Whip Basics forum. I really love his sense of humor and how kind he is. Several months ago he had an amazing idea to make Show whips with stainless steel. He talked to me about it and I loved the idea. It took me months to track down the right supplier. I ordered from so many, some were too heavy, some were too ugly, some were too were too thick, Finally, I found one that was just right. Do you want to know the awesome thing??? The stainless that I finally settled on weighs almost the exact same as the copper. These took a while to bring into the world, but I think they are worth it. They are 5 foot, stainless Show Whips in black, orange and dark grey. They are mirrored and matched as well as having mirrored Ric Boyed falls. I really love these whips and hope they will be very happy in Italy. Last October I made a smaller neon green and black Goddess whip for a friend of mine. The Year I made the upgraded version.
This is a 6 foot 16 plait Sonic Alignment that is going to a cool guy named for Neil. It is a gift for his sweetheart and I really love that both green whips go to women. I think I'll have to make this a yearly tradition. Just as a little side note... the the 16 plait 6 footer is awesome! I love the weight of this whip! This beautiful brass ferrule came in the mail this week. I was a surprise gift from Tyler Blake of ExoWhips.
I am absolutely blown away. Not only by the beauty but by the thoughtfulness. Tyler put an image of the "Holy Oak" from my cracker keepers on one side and a pertoglyph that is by my house on the other side. It is so personal and I love it. Now all I need is a whip to put it on! I had so much fun making this whip! Red and black happen to be my two favorite colors and if I ever have time to make myself a nice show whip is going to look a lot like this one. It is a good looking whip and I don't think the pictures do it justice.
This Dragon's Tail is going to live in Ireland. How cool is that? Its going to a nice man named Andrzej, who makes whips as well as practices Martial arts. Just may kind of guy! I can feel really good sending this whip off to him. I'm proud of this whip. Even though I have made so many DT whips, this one is as close to perfect as they come.
These whips are on their way to Germany. A set of 5 foot show whips in black with neon orange fall and neon pink fall. I like the pop of color at the end! Also we have a 6 foot Sonic Alignment in tan and black. That is the second most popular color combination next to red and black. I decide to add a little special flare on this one. I think it looks great. |
