I was contacted about building a gift/tribute whip for Alex's mom. The story I was told really touched me on a few different levels. I was so inspired that I decided this was going to be a really special whip for a really special lady. We talked about doing the colors deep purple and lilac. Those are really special to me because they happen to be the colors I had at my wedding. I searched and found a place that would sell me the lilac color, but it had to be made for the whip. It was beautiful when it arrived, but I loved it even more after the wax.
I wanted a really special stone for this whip. I was thinking amethyst and I don't normally carry that because the price is so much higher but this is a special whip! I also picked up a charoite just on a whim. The charoite turned out to be a perfect fit for the whip. so I had the amethyst turned into a pendant and sent it along with the whip.
Everything about this whip makes me so happy!
